❗Usage and Maintenance Guidelines
Air Intake Filter: The intake filter cotton is not washable. It should be replaced after every 100–200 hours of use or immediately if it becomes dirty.
Oxygen Inhaler and Nasal Cannula: Clean the oxygen inhaler head approximately once a week. The nasal cannula should be cleaned after each use.
Car Power Adapter: The car power cable is for powering the device only — it does not charge the battery.
Car Usage Notice: Before using the device in a vehicle, make sure to start the engine and let it stabilize before connecting to the car's cigarette lighter socket. Failure to do so may damage the device.

Common pulse flow oxygen concentrators deliver oxygen only on detection of breathing. VP-2 has two modes: In sensor mode, it outputs oxygen on detection of your inhalation; if the inhalation is too mild to be detected, it will automatically switch to auto mode and supply oxygen every 3 seconds. This function ensures a more reliable oxygen supply, especially for those with shallow breathing.
How to replace and charge the battery?
The battery of VP-2 is designed for effortless replacement in just 3 steps: 1. lay the machine flat; 2. pull and hold the trigger; 3. push on the trigger side and slide the battery out. The battery can be charged in two ways: 1. when the battery is attached to the machine, simply connect the machine to AC/DC power with the corresponding power cord to charge. 2. when the battery is disassembled from the machine, connect the power cord to the independent power port on the battery to charge it. Check out the VP-2 manual for more detailed instructions.
Is the battery included in the package?
Yes, the machine comes with the battery and other accessories in the package list. You can also buy spare batteries separately in-store for extended use time. We provide two types of batteries: 1. default battery of 6360 mAh, sustaining up to 3.5h; 2. extra large battery of 10400 mAh, sustaining up to 6h.

Unfortunately I don't have photos as such but I have made 2 trips to France from Yorkshire,England and also extensively in the UK since I got my machine plus an extra battery. Freedom and independence at last.

My husband has severe COPD. We have tried other portable oxygen machines without much success. This lightweight machine is amazing!!!! I'm loving this new machine. My emphysema has progressed and on 4L 24/7 so I needed to upgrade. The battery lasts longer and easier to carry in the backpack. I'm waiting for the batteries to come back in stock so I can order 2 extra. Overall, it's great!!
I have emphysema and wouldn't be without it now, it's a great help and it's very versatile you can take it anywhere. The only thing I would say is its very noisy which is a shame if you use it in bed. Overall it's first class.

I purchased this oxygen concentrator to help with my COPD and blood oxygen levels
It has been excellent- whenever my oxygen levels drop below 86% I attach the cannula and it brings my levels back up to 92%
This machine has made a massive difference and eased my anxiety levels knowing that it’s close by

I have only been out with it once. I went to the hospital a sieep problem I stopped breathing 30 times in the test. They they were impressed with it they they setup something similar but it has a computer in it. I have to wear it with a mask when I sleep at night.
I find this works well for me to supply ambulatory oxygen outside when my COPD is making exertion difficult.
I dont have a medical assessment yet but am aware of the hazards of too high oxygenation so I use it at 1 or 2 and monitor my spo2 in the range 90-94.
The unit itself seems to be well made and I hope it will give long service at light duty. Should I have an issue then I understand I may have to return it to PRC. This is OK given the price but maybe a backup unit would be an idea ?
Communication with VARON has been excellent both pre and post sale - as good as any company I have dealt with.
An instance is that they provided what read like a realistic comparison with an ingenious G3.
I have no suggestions for improving this unit but I do hope that they might bring to market an even lighter unit like the ingenio Rove 4 ( albeit with lower ranged of pulsed delivery. )
All in all- no hesitation at all in recommending this unit even without in-country office support.

It seems to work well. It was packaged very well. Pretty light weight. My mom likes continuous flow so she is getting used to it only working as you take a breath.

My rating the Varon VP-2 only at a "3" is predicated upon the lack of customer service, not the machine itself. I personally do not use the machine but bought it for a friend as a Christmas gift; however, I have submitted two questions to their customer service center on his behalf and have not received an answer on either one of them. If requests for guidance or clarification are not going to be addressed, then why have a customer service department?
